Website and Personal Revamp

I’m shifting gears from wire-wrapped jewelry to retro-inspired creations and making more room for my love of rocks. You’ll find my latest creations in The Maker’s Shop as they become available.

Short story – I was too young to be a hippie.

At ten years old, I didn’t understand everything the hippies were trying to change. I just knew that they looked freer than anybody else. They had long hair, colorful clothes, beads, and peace signs. In a world where my dysfunctional grown-ups were always telling me how to dress and behave (or how not dress and how not to behave), people who believed in “doing your own thing” were awfully appealing.

This website is a space to do my own thing—to express my thoughts and moods and share the things I create with people who appreciate the warmth, beauty, and individuality of handmade work.

I’m not looking to get rich—I just love making things. I can’t keep everything I create, so if something catches your eye and you buy it, you’re helping me keep doing what I love. That’s pretty cool and I’m truly grateful for your support.

I also intend to use my website as a blog to share stories, ideas, experiences, and information with others. I’m ready to give this idea wings and see where it goes!
