Welcome to my corner of the world, nestled in the breathtaking rolling hills of Wisconsin’s Kettle Moraine. I am an artisan jeweler, creating hand-made pieces deeply rooted in the earthy beauty that surrounds me. My life is a tapestry woven from threads of Protestant spirituality, crafty and healthy living, and a deep connection to nature.
I share my small homestead with my loving husband, our dog Junebugg; a rescued Louisiana Catahoula Leopard Dog , a lively flock of laying hens, and Big Carl; our alert and protective tom turkey. Together, we cultivate a life filled with simplicity, creativity, and joy. As a mother of three sons and a grandmother to five precious grandchildren, I value life.
My passions extend beyond jewelry-making to include gardening, where I nurture the land and watch life bloom. Weaving is another art form I cherish, as it allows me to create functional beauty from natural fibers. As a budding lapidary, each rock I cut brings a me a new portrait of the amazingly beautiful micro-universe of minerals. When we’re not tending to our homestead, my husband and I love to travel in our cozy travel trailer, exploring new landscapes and experiencing the beauty of the world around us.
In creating my jewelry, I aim to capture the essence of the natural world and the spiritual connection that binds us all. Each piece is crafted with love and care, reflecting the beauty and simplicity of our homestead life. .
Thank you for joining me on this journey, and I hope you find something that resonates with you in my creations.
Warm Regards – Marlene
